Personality Usaki is normally quiet, shy, and scholarly; she's a bit of a wallflower at times, though less so among good friends. However, she shows a bountiful supply of focussed anger when provoked. Despite having all but given up on dieting long ago, she's still a bit sensitive about her weight, but these days any insults are met with not "I'm just big-boned!" but "So what if I'm fat? You got a problem, smart-ass?"

Description You see a young rabbit girl, no older than her late teens, with straight, light brown fur covering her body and shoulder-length, darker brown headfur. Her big green eyes stare out at the world with the bemused nervousness of one who's living on their own for the first time. She's rather short, at 5'2" (her ears adding about a foot when standing straight, as they usually do when she's relaxed), and on the chubby side, with a soft tummy, thickset thighs, and a rounded rear. She is dressed simply, wearing a black T-shirt featuring the famous anime mecha, Mobile Suit Bundam, and blue jeans, her digitigrade feet left bare.
Other Description Standing before you is Yuki-Usa, the snow-making, ice-slinging young newcomer to Supermegatopia's superhero population. Her short, pudgy frame (no taller than five feet two inches, not counting the ears) is covered in snow-white fur, with light grey headfur done up in a bun held in place with chopsticks. Her body is wrapped in an icy blue (appropriately enough) kimono with an ice crystal motif, her big rabbit feet left bare. Despite her serious countenance, her eyes betray her inexperience and nervousness about her superhero carreer. Only time will tell if she has what it takes.
History Born the only daughter and middle child of chef/retired sumo wrestler Shinpei Fuyumoto and restaurant critic Harumi Sanban, Usaki received the unfortunate combination of her father's endomorphic built and her mother's love of good food. As a result, the young bunny soon grew quite chubby, and struggled with her weight most of her life. Fortunately, her parents, her brothers Keitaro (age 23) and Tasuka (age 18), and the rest of her family and friends were supportive enough that she didn't develop any major issues with her self-esteem.



While celebrating her graduation from high school with a ski trip in the mountains, Usaki got lost on a cross-country trail and stumbled across an old cabin. As a fierce blizzard was starting up, she decided to take refuge in the apparently empty cabin, hoping whoever lived there, if anyone, wouldn't mind. Those well-versed in Japanese folklore can probably guess who showed up just as Usaki was falling asleep in the quiet warmth of the cabin: in this case, it was a female rabbit with snow-white fur dressed in a kimono. Usaki put two and two together, and was promptly freaked out, but the "snow-woman" assured her she meant no harm. The two chatted, and even shared dinner, and Usaki soon found herself spending the night. Little did she suspect that this snow woman, lonely and grateful for some company, had plans to thank her visitor...



The next morning, Usaki was greeted by a rescue team, having nearly been snowed in overnight, and found no sight of her new friend, except for a cryptic note someone had put in her pocket that said "I left a gift for being a friend. Use it well." Life resumed as normal, except she found the normally mild summer a bit warmer than she remembered it. But Usaki realized something was definitely up when she warded off a drunk salaryman by encasing him in ice from the waist down. She also found herself turning into a snow-white, kimono-clad alter ego in times of stress, and began to realize that somehow the snow woman she had met on her ski trip had passed on her powers... her "gift" to Usaki. Training in secret to master her powers (or at least control them) over the summer, she was glad she had chosen to continue her education in the land of Kwyjibo... because with great power comes great yada yada yada, and she thought she could do some good using her powers as a member of Supermegatopia's burgeoning superhero community.



Currently a student at Kiwi University, majoring in hospitality and restaurant management and working part-time at Close-Enough Engineering to make some extra cash, Usaki spends what spare time she can afford fighting the forces of evil as Yuki-Usa ("Snow Rabbit").
