Basically a robber knight out of his own time. He mixes the honor and chivalry of a knight with the brutality of a vicious killer, making him as likely to bow and compliment you with poetry as he is to draw his sword to run you through. He does revel in his allegiance to the dark powers, so don't call him "good" or "nice".

You see a tall, dark and disturbingly handsome male wolf with charcoal black body fur and white hair and beard. He's dressed in a black set of chain mail armor with leather pants and leg pads, arm pads and shoulder pads of tarnished silver decorated with red runes (along with a cup of the same color). Draped over his shoulders is a long black cape which catches the breeze easily (even when there isn't one). On his waist is a tight leather belt, holding a scabbard of fine black reptile scales, matching his boots, which holds his dark rune sword Soulripper. He turns to look at you with a refinned but predatory grin, and you're disturbed to see his eyes burning with an unnatural red glow, matching the runes on his armor...

| History |
Romulus, he who would one day be known as the BlackLoneWolf, grew up as an orphaned page in the court of a minor king back in the dark ages. Being a page was, however, less glamorous as later historians would make it out to be. Romulus was essentially a slave to the cruel and snobish knights, who rubbed the salt in the wound by claiming the "ingrate" whelp should be greatful for the chance to serve a Knight. Romulus hung in there, though, and eventually worked his way through squiredom and into Knighthood, trying to prove himself better then those noble-born knights. This, however, proved to be complicated by the fact he accidentally insulted the king by not flattering him during a joust. He thus got kicked out of the castle and became a wanderer. In anger and desperation, Romulus turned to the life of a Robber Knight, fighting and slaying many noble knights for gold, glory and for the fun of it. This eventually brought him into the service of the Dark Iguana, who saw in him the potential to create something new and powerful. Romulus was altered through eldritch sorceries and mystical might into something not quite human, but not quite demonic or undead either. His soul was bound to his corporeal shell, making it nearly immortal (but not invulnerable), with the power to channel Dark Fire into wild bolts of energy. He was given a mystic suit of armor to protect his form from most damage, and a dark sword, Soulripper, which allowed him to channel his power. Afterwards, Romulus spent many years in Dark Iguana's service, slaying and destroying in his name, until a battle with a coruageous Paladin who nearly destroyed him. Dark Iguana, having been unable to create more warriors like Romulus, stored him in a power-restoring Sarcophagus and hid him in a catacomb for the next 1000 years, so he could regenerate completly. He recently awoke in the basement of the SMT Museum, and made his way out, finding himself in a whole new world. Spending the next few days to familiarise himself with this new era, he realized he hadn't heard from his master in millenia. Feeling himself free of any obligations, Romulus decided to do what any self-respecting Medieval Warrior would do alone and without anything to do: he started the way of the Robber Knight again, getting enough funds to raise an army, so he can carve himself a kingdom of his own. For over a thousand years, Romulus has been everyone else's tool and plaything... Now it's HIS turn.
